About us
Alphabet Energy, Inc. was founded in 2009 by
Matthew L. Scullin and Peidong Yang in Berkeley, California.
Alphabet is funded by leading investors in the field of cleantech, including TPG Biotech, Claremont Creek Ventures, the CalCEF Clean Energy Angel Fund, and individuals from the renewable energy project finance industry. In addition, we have partnered with the US Army, the US Air Force, and the US Department of Energy, all of whom are additionally funding development of our products.
We are seeking further partnerships with industries who access or produce large quantities of waste heat, as well as with semiconductor foundries.
